Dramatic Results in LAUSD
Los Angeles schools are implementing the SECOND STEP program district-wide. Florence Griffith-Joyner Elementary’s Principal John Sayers and Assistant Principal Nieves Rascón report that, in the three years since joining LAUSD’s SECOND STEP Model Schools program, they have had drop in discipline referrals of over 75 percent.
